Wirecast is a commercial project that allows you to create powerful and flexible live streaming shows with multiple camera inputs.
We are currently looking at using WebRTC based solutions, and creating our own native screen sharing widgets.
# Wirecast Virtual Camera
To remove the virtual camera simply take the "WirecastVirtualCamera.plugin" file out of the:
/Library/CoreMediaIO/Plug-Ins/DAL/
folder.
